The first step is to have you take pictures, videos, and draw a napkin sketch if needed of your space. We will send you a link to a project folder through Google Drive that you can upload all of the items to for us to review. If needed, you can email the items.

Every project has the aspirations but we need to outline them so that we can make it happen.

You’ll send all the notes and pictures that show your inspirations and styles. This often includes sketches, Pinterest or Instagram pictures, or photos of other properties that you have drawn inspiration from. We want to see everything you’ve saved!

We will send you a dimensions request drawing which is just a fancy word for a drawing without any dimensions that looks like your space! You will measure your space and fill out the drawing to the best of your ability and snap a picture or scan in that drawing and send it back to us. We will make sure the model is a perfect match dimensionally to your space!

Now that we have your space, your goals and inspirations, and your measurements outlined we can start designing! We will usually provide a few options and a floorplan with all the fine details to make sure the project is headed in the right direction.

The feedback loop with you is critical to getting the details just right. You’ll say what you like, or don’t like, and we will adjust from there. This iterative process is key to getting your space looking like you imagined it.. or BETTER!

Once we have all the details in place and you are happy with all of the designs we shift our focus to creating contractor drawings.

The contractor drawings will focus on the floorplan, elevations, renderings, electrical & plumbing locations, and basic architectural information.

We will save all of the drawings and renderings to your Google Drive project folder. These files will always be accessible to you as long as you have the link to the folder. Better yet, share that folder with your contractor to kick off your project!
